About
This indicator measures the ratio of Extra-Mural Program (EMP) patients that are utilizing the Emergency Department. This measure determines if EMP patients are receiving regular and appropriate visits by EMP professionals allowing them to remain at home and prevent unnecessary Emergency Department visits. Appropriate home health care will decrease unnecessary Emergency Department visits.
