Calculations

This indicator is based on respondents who have a family doctor or a nurse practitioner. This indicator is calculated by dividing the number of respondents who answered "yes to at least 1 of the 8 health care services asked in the questionnaire" by the number of respondents who answered "yes or no, to at least 1 of the options asked" to the question: Thinking of the last 12 months, did you use any of the following services because your family doctor or your nurse practitioner was not available: hospital emergency department, after-hours clinic or a walk-in clinic, virtual clinic using eVisitNB, Tele-Care 811, consultation with a pharmacist, consultation with a specialist, consultation with an allied health professional (e.g. audiologist, psychologist, dietitian, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, social worker...) or other services
