About

This indicator is the percentage of citizens who reported that their last consultation with their primary care provider was in-person.

Source

New Brunswick Health Council, Primary Health Survey and Primary Care Survey

Calculations

This indicator is based on respondents who have a family doctor or a nurse practitioner and who consulted with them in the last 12 months. This indicator is calculated by dividing the number of respondents who answered "in-person" by the number of respondents who answered "in-person or virtual" to the question: Now think of the last time you consulted with your family doctor or your nurse practitioner, was this consultation?
