In response to the tragic death of 11-year-old Brayden Robbins from a brain hemorrhage at Comox Valley Hospital, B.C. Health Minister Josie Osborne announced plans to improve the healthcare system. The province will introduce a night shift critical care paramedic in the region to enhance emergency care services. The Minister also noted that a multi-agency review is currently underway to determine whether additional actions should be taken.
