Grey County's Supportive Outreach Service (SOS) program will expand to operate seven days a week, thanks to a $1,126,700 federal grant aimed at addressing the opioid crisis. This funding will allow the purchase of a dedicated vehicle for the program, which currently uses an ambulance, and enable the SOS team to operate in multiple locations if needed. The SOS program provides mobile outreach to help marginalized community members access essential health services.
