This indicator is the percentage of students in grades 6 to 12 who report it is mostly true or very true that they did not want to go to school because they were afraid someone would physically hurt them.

Calculations
This indicator is calculated by dividing the number of respondents who answered "mostly true or very true" by the number of respondents who answered "not at all true, only a litlle true, mostly true or very true" to the question: For these statements, pick the choice that best describes how you feel. During the past two weeks: a) I did not want to go to school because I was afraid someone would physically hurt me.
Notes
This indicator is based on a survey question for students in New Brunswick's Anglophone schools. Survey results are only available for the Anglophone sector and Anglophone school districts.
