Calculations

This indicator combines the responses to the following 7 individual questions related to alternative practitioners: In the past 12 months, did you visit any of the following alternative practitioners: 'Chiropractor (yes/no)', 'Naturopath (yes/no)', 'Homeopath (yes/no)', 'Osteopath (yes/no)', 'Acupuncturist (yes/no)', 'Massage therapist (yes/no)' or 'Other (yes/no)'. This indicator is calculated by dividing the number of respondents who answered 'yes' to at least 1 of these individual questions by the total number of respondents.
