Using results from the 2017 edition of the Primary Health Survey, this document discusses a new measure of unmet home care need among the general population of New Brunswick and the implications of New Brunswickers being able to stay in their homes. It also shows geographic and demographic variability of unmet needs, and suggests that those responsible for home care services further review unmet need and incorporate their findings into planning and service delivery.
