James Lamkey contributed more than 30 years to the citizens of Chatham, later Miramichi serving first as Town Clerk, then as City Clerk after the amalgamation. In addition, he served a director of the area’s Emergency Measures Organization (EMO) and as a volunteer firefighter. He worked with many groups and organizations during his service to his community, and his hope is to contribute to the improvement of the delivery of health care services for all New Brunswickers.
A member of both the Knights of Columbus, as well as the Board of Directors of Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home, James enjoys outdoor activities, supporting local sports and helping out in his community.
