Alberta residents can access their EHRs through an online portal called MyHealth Records with any digitally-enabled device. Among the features that can be accessed online includes:

  • Medicines dispensed from community pharmacies;
  • Most immunizations given in Alberta as well as any immunizations received outside of the province the patient enters into the system;
  • Results of common lab tests completed within 18 months of the date of sign-up;
  • Blood pressure and blood glucose levels;
  • Personal journals that track mood, sleep, weight, and fitness goals;
  • Information from health devices, including supported blood pressure monitors, blood glucose meters and fitness trackers; and
  • Printable reports and health records to share with healthcare providers.
