The provincial government is providing Counselling Alberta, a new division of the Calgary Counselling Centre focused on providing support to in rural communities, with $6.75 million over two years to expand access to affordable and accessible mental health supports in Alta. Provincial funding will allow the centre to expand their virtual services throughout Alta., including in rural areas. In addition, Counselling Alberta will expand in-person counselling services.
