Mental health organisations in the province heard a clear call for youth-focused suicide bereavement support. The Edmonton branch of the CMHA will offer online suicide grief support groups for people aged 12 to 25. The program will fill a gap in mental health services as CMHA Edmonton runs suicide grief services for adults but the new program, in partnership with youth mental health non-profit Kickstand, will help youth find support among their peers.
