Patient Voices Network, a community of patients, families and caregivers working with healthcare partners to improve the B.C. healthcare system, released its 2017-2020 Strategic Plan, based on consultation with community and organization partners across the province. The plan's strategic priorities for the coming years are:

  • Evaluating the impact of patient engagement activities, share findings with partners, and use them to inform actions;
  • Increasing the capacity of healthcare and patient partners to support authentic engagement; and
  • Diversifying its membership so that it represents the individuals, communities and groups who access healthcare services.
