It’s part of a plan to increase the sharing of test results, such as lab results, with patients so they can be more involved in their ongoing care. The provincial patient portal, Health Gateway, will allow specialists and family doctors at hospitals that use the province’s clinical health information system to share information and clinical documents with patients. In turn, patients can bring these documents to any provider for further discussion.
