The opioid overdose virtual reality training course depicts real-world scenarios of opioid overdoses in a video game desktop format. The object is to learn how to administer Naloxone to someone who’s unconscious with an opioid overdose in time to revive them. The CAMH says Naloxone is easier to use than an Epipen but because of the fear and stigma related to opioid overdoses, people don’t learn how to use it.
