Canadians believe quality of healthcare will worsen in next few years

Canadians are twice as likely to expect the quality of healthcare that they and their family will have access to locally will worsen rather than improve in the next few years. British Columbians (32%) are significantly more likely to feel the quality of healthcare in their local area is worse than those in Alta. (17%). Compared to Jan. 2023, Canadians are more likely to rate the quality of healthcare in Canada as neither good nor bad and are less likely to rate it as good. Seventy-seven percent of those who say the quality of healthcare they have access to isn’t good say there aren’t enough healthcare professionals to meet demand.
