Research from the Canadian Medical Association finds that 68% feel that provincial and territorial governments support healthcare innovation practices but 57% say the same thing holds for the federal government. The CMA states that the results show that Ottawa should do more to drive a national agenda of health innovation. It adds that leadership from Ottawa is needed to continue advances in areas such as robotics, 3D printing and AI that will change healthcare delivery and the structure of care.
