Cormorant Island is located off the northeast coast of Vancouver Island. The partnership between Island Health and ‘Namgis First Nation will provide temporary housing for healthcare workers on Cormorant Island while they find their own accommodation. Since May, 14 healthcare professionals were accommodated, contributing to the improvement of healthcare services for the local community.
