Nationally, wait times were longest for orthopedic surgery (39 weeks) and plastic surgery (28.5 weeks), while the shortest was for medical oncology (3.8 weeks). The report found a wide discrepancy of wait times, with Ontario, Quebec and Saskatchewan all under 16 weeks.
