St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton was the first healthcare institution to take part in the Project AMPLIFI pilot project in 2020, designed to replace fax machines for clinical data transfer between hospitals and LTC homes with an electronic method. The hospital reports three-fourths of clinicians are satisfied with the system as it provides more time for frontline care.
