Horizon to gather support for staff in campaign to spread kindness

The regional health authority plans to share on social media the positive messages its staff receives from patients and clients. As part of the campaign, a website was set up for people to recognize an employee, prompting people to enter the employee's job title and name, the region, facility and approximate date. They're then asked to select statements from a drop-down menu that include:

• Acts with integrity and is accountable;
• Is a leader yet works as a team;
• Shows empathy, compassion and respect; and
• Strives for excellence.

The campaign initially began during the pandemic.
