Horizon Health Network introduced an online self-booking service for patients in the Saint John area to schedule their own bloodwork and other specimen collection appointments. As part of Horizon's Critical Action Plan to improve the patient experience, the service aims to enhance the quality of online booking services, while maintaining the telephone option for others. The service will be piloted starting Sept. 16, and patients can book appointments through Horizon's website, provided they have a laboratory requisition.
