The Toronto-based HR and tech company was just acquired by Telus. Its Indigenous iCBT program was developed with Indigenous community members and allies. It's intended to offer mental health support that integrates Indigenous cultural and spiritual concepts within clinical frameworks. It includes:

  • Video program teachings created and reviewed by a veteran Indigenous journalist;
  • Guided therapists who are Indigenous or experienced Indigenous allies and have or will receive specialized training by Noojimo Health, the program’s Indigenous mental health partner;
  • Addressing depression and anxiety from diverse Indigenous cultural viewpoints; and
  • Mental health support modules through Indigenous storytelling and teaching mediums.

Indigenous iCBT will be launched on June 21, National Indigenous Peoples Day in Canada.
