Manitoba reduces ambulance fees by $85

Ambulance costs are a prime concern for seniors, as such, the cost has been reduced by 20%. Manitobans will pay either $340 (down from $425) or the pre-existing base fee established by the service provider, whichever is lower. This reduction represents an average total decrease of $182 since 2016, when the average ambulance fee in the province was $522. In Manitoba, ambulance services are delivered by a combination of regional health authorities, municipalities and First Nation communities.
