Moncton-based mental health counselling service SAGE Solutions launched a video counselling app called SAGEnow to help civilian and military to access one-on-one counselling with a clinician. The app can be used to book appointments with a network of about 150 mental health professionals specializing in PTSD, addictions, abuse, depression and family counselling. In terms of wait times, the company says most clients are seen within five days, with some services available on the same day or next day. The app also aims to makes therapy more available to rural residents and for people who don't have access to transportation.
