The results from the New Zealand Health Survey were published using a new interactive tool called the Annual Data Explorer. The Health Survey collects information on the health and wellbeing of the population to help identify issues and monitor trends. Over 150 health indicators are included in the system. In addition to the usual metrics, new indicators (such as screen time for children) have been added. The way these results are published in the Annual Data Explorer aims to make it easier for people to access and download the information. It combines statistics with graphs and the interactive format is intended to encourage users to explore the data and monitor effects of health interventions.
