The provincial government is investing $50,000 to join other Atlantic provinces to support the Atlantic Mentorship Network - Pain and Addictions, a network of pain and addiction providers that links groups of primary healthcare providers to pain and addiction experts. The province says the organization's work aligns with its Mental Health and Addictions Action Plan, and the funding will provide physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals with support and education, and connect them with their counterparts in Atlantic Canada and across the continent.
