CancerCare Manitoba (CCMB) is providing early support to cancer patients through a team of specially trained nurses, known as Nurse Navigators. These navigators assist patients from the initial stages of their cancer journey, offering support well before treatment begins. They help bridge gaps in care by connecting patients with primary care providers, social work, spiritual care and arranging necessary tests and assessments. This early intervention aims to reduce patient anxiety and ensure no one navigates the cancer journey alone.
