The Ontario government will provide health services to homeless people at five Toronto shelters in a pilot project set to get underway later this year. The provincial health minister says mental health supports, chronic disease management and wound care are among the services that will be offered to an under-served population. Eric Hoskins says the program will include 300 combined beds at the Toronto facilities.
