Ottawa Hospital AI shares info with staff, patients, visitors

The Ottawa Hospital’s Digital Teammate provides human-like interactions with staff, patients and visitors. During an initial test phase, the Digital Teammate will answer questions about the hospital’s new campus in French or English. The hospital believes the AI has the potential to reduce administrative tasks for staff and enhance the patient experience. The Ottawa Hospital, in collaboration with Deloitte Canada, will also explore whether the Teammate can further assist patients by answering questions, providing directions and sharing resources.
