Pharmacists should have greater role in smoking-cessation programs: Researchers

It adds that pharmacists' role as community-facing healthcare professionals makes them ideally suited to provide support to individuals trying to quit tobacco. The paper proposes a unified framework and to harmonize the tools and resources available to pharmacists across Canada for a consistent level of care across all provinces.
