The pilot project is becoming the envy of the rest of Canada. The Pharmacy Association of Nova Scotia says since Feb. 2023, 185,000 services were performed in those clinics, which led to a significant reduction in ER visits. The pilot project was supposed to come to an end on Apr. 30 but work is being done to make it a permanent healthcare option. As of June 1, a record number of Nova Scotians were still without a family doctor.
