The Newly Institute specializes in mental health, addiction, trauma and chronic pain treatments. It’ll open in June and says it offers rapid access to treatment, which includes psychedelics and drugs such as ketamine. The clinic can handle between 300 to 600 clients annually and cost of the service varies whether patients have third-party funding or not. Without insurance coverage, cost can range from $5,000 to $15,000 depending on the comorbidities like addiction or chronic pain, which can drive some of those fees up. The Newly Institute plans to continue its expansion to Ottawa and Edmonton in 2022.
