Telus taking mobile clinic concept nationwide with $5M commitment

Telus Health says the funding will enable it to expand its Health for Good program to communities in B.C., Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia by next year. The mobile clinic concept is already serving the health needs of vulnerable and marginalized people in Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary and Montreal. The mobile health clinics are divided into a reception/triage area and a examination "room" to provide primary services such as routine testing, contraception, STI treatment, harm reduction services, and mental health care and counselling.
