Toronto health centre doubles remote patient monitoring capacity

The Toronto Grace Health Centre is expanding its telehealth services, with a remote patient monitoring system that currently oversees 16,000 clients and is expected to grow to 25,000-30,000 by the end of 2024. The system allows patients who would otherwise occupy hospital beds to return home, thus freeing up space for more critical cases. This service reached as far as Thunder Bay, London, Ottawa and even out-of-province areas like B.C. and P.E.I.
