The New Brunswick Institute for Research, Data and Training (NB-IRDT) and the New Brunswick Trauma Program are integrating trauma care data into one data repository at NB-IRDT, a research institute at UNB. The health data will be used to illustrate the management and care of major injuries in the province. It will also be used for the NB Trauma Program to target injury prevention initiatives. Current research projects underway include an investigation of trauma mortality and an examination of hip fracture care.
