With N.B.’s population projected to grow by 16% over the next two decades, the Vitalité Health Network is focusing on finding solutions to impacts an aging population will have on the health system. Vitalité President & CEO Dr. France Desrosiers says the province's health system needs to redefine itself based on demographic studies, projected HR needs and updated care and service delivery models, including those using emerging technologies like AI. Desrosiers says New Brunswickers aged 65 and over use medical care 2.6 times more often than younger adults.
