All provinces monitored by Medimap saw an increase in overall average wait times. The dats found 12-minute increase in the average wait time it takes to see a physician, compared to 2021. The average walk-in clinic wait time stood at 37 minutes last year, compared to 25 minutes in 2021. Patients in N.S. and B.C. experienced the longest average wait times across Canada in 2022 while Ont. and Man. had the shortest average wait times.
