The Strategy for Patient-Oriented Research (SPOR) Canadian Data Platform will simplify researchers' access of health research data by allowing them to request information from various sources across the country and share analytical tools. The federal government and several partners are contributing $81 million over seven years to support the database, which is expected to launch in the next two or three months.
