Two health programs at Collège de l’Île were suspended for the 2023-2024 school year due to a lack of instructors. The college, which has campuses in Wellington and Charlottetown, had offered a resident care worker program and an LPN program for the last five years. The college is considering options for students who already enrolled for the 2023-2024 school year, including:
- Working with Holland College to see if there are any spots for students who feel comfortable to take courses in English; and
- Seeing if there are any spots open at Collège Communautaire du Nouveau Brunswick.
