Heather Jensen draws on a variety of life, employment and volunteer experiences. In addition to her years of employment at UNB’s Engineering and Harriet Irving libraries, she pursued a program of self-directed study at the university as part of her lifelong learning. Employment with the Toronto Dominion Bank and in the Accounts department at Cranes Supply added business experience to her skills.
Jensen enhanced the development of New Brunswick youth as a leader with CGIT and Beavers and showed a commitment to democracy and women in public service through a number of other volunteer activities. Serving as President of the New Denmark Seniors’ Complex, Inc., President of the New Denmark Historical Society, and a participant in the Relay for Life, Jensen is also a volunteer at the Good Samaritan Food Bank.
