President of the New Brunswick Health Council (NBHC), Rino Volpé is a renowned business leader and consultant. Mr. Volpé was the first president of the NBHC when it was founded. He is also the founder and president of Gestion 5m Management Inc. a successful consulting firm. Mr. Volpé was also co-chair of the NB Health Renewal Board.
His career path has led him to head eight major corporations, including senior management positions as CEO of Vitalité Health Network, Vice-President at J.D. Irving Limited, Assumption Life and Nadeau Enterprises. Before turning to the business world, Mr. Volpé taught chemistry at the Université de Moncton, Edmundston campus for four years.
With a Master of Science degree from the Université de Moncton, Mr. Volpé values ongoing professional development and has enriched his skills by participating in courses and seminars at some 30 renowned institutions such as Harvard, Queen's, McGill, Western Ontario, York and Rutgers, among others.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Volpé is actively involved in organizations such as the Atlantic Cancer Research Institute and Imvescor. He has also played leadership roles as President of the New Brunswick Manufacturers and Processors Association, President of the Conseil économique du Nouveau-Brunswick, President of the New Brunswick Forest Products Association, President of the Edmundston Chamber of Commerce and Vice-President of the Atlantic Provinces Chamber of Commerce.
