About

This indicator is the percentage of acute care patients who reported that they were completely informed about what was going to happen during the admission process [when admission is not through ER].

Source

New Brunswick Health Council, Hospital Acute Care Survey

Calculations

This indicator is based on respondents who do not have an admission through ER. This indicator is calculated by dividing the number of respondents who answered "completely" by the number of respondents who answered "not at all, partly, quite a bit or completely" to the question: Before coming to the hospital, did you have enough information about what was going to happen during the admission process?
