This indicator is calculated by dividing the number of respondents who answered "strongly agree" by the number of respondents who answered "strongly disagree, disagree, agree or strongly agree" to the question: The hospital staff took my preferences and those of my family or caregiver into account in deciding what my health care needs would be when I left the hospital.
