About

This indicator is the percentage of citizens who do not know if their primary care provider is part of a group practice.

New Brunswick Health Council, Primary Health Survey and Primary Care Survey

Calculations

This indicator is based on respondents who have a family doctor or a nurse practitioner. This indicator is calculated by dividing the number of respondents who answered "I don't know" by the number of respondents who answered "yes, no or I don't know" to the question: Is your family doctor or your nurse practitioner part of a group practice? This means that other doctors and/or nurse practitioners have access to your full medical file and history, and they can see you when your family doctor or your nurse practitioner is not available.
