About

This indicator is the percentage of citizens who reported that they had received the support they needed from their primary care provider in the last 12 months.

Source

New Brunswick Health Council, Primary Health Survey and Primary Care Survey

Calculations

This indicator is based on respondents who have a family doctor or a nurse practitioner and who consulted with them in the last 12 months. This indicator is calculated by dividing the number of respondents who answered "yes, definitely" by the number of respondents who answered "no, yes, to some extent or yes, definitely" to the question: Thinking of the last 12 months, in general, do you feel that you received the support you needed from your family doctor or nurse practitioner to help you manage your health problems?
