About

Source

New Brunswick Health Council, Primary Health Survey and Primary Care Survey

Calculations

This indicator is based on respondents who have a family doctor or a nurse practitioner. This indicator is calculated by dividing the number of respondents who answered "service not offered outside clinic hours" by the number of respondents who answered "service not offered outside clinic hours, very difficult, somewhat difficult, somewhat easy or very easy" to the question: How do you rate your ability to get care from your family doctor or nurse practitioner during the evening (after 5 pm) or on weekends when you need medical care? Would you say it was?
