New Brunswick Health Council, Primary Health Survey and Primary Care Survey

Calculations

This indicator is based on respondents who have a family doctor or a nurse practitioner. This indicator is calculated by dividing the number of respondents who answered "an office with one family doctor or nurse practitioner working in a solo practice" by the number of respondents who answered "an office with one family doctor or nurse practitioner working in a solo practice, an office with several family doctors or nurse practitioners working independantly of each other who may share one or more nurses, an office with several health care professionals working together as a team, that may include a family doctor, nurse practitioner, dietician, nurse, social worker or psychologist or other, specify" to the question: What kind of place does your family doctor or nurse practitioner work in?
