About

This indicator is the percentage of citizens who reported that their last consultation with their primary care provider was virtual.

Source

New Brunswick Health Council, Primary Health Survey and Primary Care Survey

Calculations

This indicator is based on respondents who have a family doctor or a nurse practitioner and who consulted with them in the last 12 months. This indicator is calculated by dividing the number of respondents who answered "virtual" by the number of respondents who answered "in-person or virtual" to the question: Now think of the last time you consulted with your family doctor or your nurse practitioner, was this consultation?
