About

This indicator is the percentage of citizens who reported that their last virtual consultation was with their personal family doctor.

Source

New Brunswick Health Council, Primary Health Survey and Primary Care Survey

Calculations

This indicator is based on respondents who had a virtual care consultation in the last 12 months. This indicator is calculated by dividing the number of respondents who answered "my personal family doctor" by the number of respondents who answered "my personal family doctor, my personal nurse practitioner, a doctor or nurse practitioner using Health Link NB, a doctor or nurse practitioner using eVisitNB, a mental health professional, a specialist, a doctor or nurse at a specialty clinic, Tele-Care 811 or an other health professional" to the question: Thinking of the last time you had a virtual consultation with a health professional, who did you consult?
